ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.NAGAMUTHU, J.) The petitioner is the brother of one Sandhya, daughter of Sasikumar. According to the petitioner, Miss.Sandya has been found missing from 02.08.2016 onwards. Alleging that she is illegally detained by the 3rd respondent, he has come up with this Habeas Corpus Petition.

2. Today, when the Habeas Corpus Petition was taken up for hearing, the petitioner made appearance along with his counsel. The detenue was produced before this Court by the 2nd respondent. She told us that she is a Post Graduate in commerce. She had fallen in love for a long time with one Mr.Goutham, who is a post graduate in science. According to her, on her own volition, she has married Mr.Goutham on 17.08.2016 and registered the same at the office of the Sub Registrar, Avadi. The marriage certificate is Sl.No.75/2016. She has produced the original certificate of the same. A copy of the same is given to the petitioner. She would further submit that she is living along with Mr.Goutham as a wife on her own volition.

3. From the statement of the detenue, it is crystal clear that there is no illegal detention. Therefore, this petition is dismissed.
