Respondents ( R6 impleaded as per Court order dated 17/12/2008 in M.P.No. 1 of 2008) Prayer: This Writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent herein to consider the petitioner's representation dated 14.02.2008 forwarded to the Chief Minister Special Cell and take appropriate action against the respondents 2 to 5 for their dereliction of duty.

ORDER
The petitioner prays to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent herein to consider the petitioner's representation dated 14.02.2008 forwarded to the Chief Minister Special Cell and take appropriate action against the respondents 2 to 5 for their dereliction of duty.
2. When the matter is taken up for hearing the learned Government Pleader produced a letter in Na.Ka. A1/2018/2018, wherein it is stated that the necessary Departmental action has been initiated against the persons who were involved in this issue and particularly the 5th respondent has been charged under Section 17(B) of Tamil Nadu Civil Servants ( Discipline and Appeal Rules ) and have been imposed with punishment.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is no more and he has no instructions regarding the legal heirs of the petitioner.
4. Based on the above submissions made by the counsel this writ petition is dismissed for non prosecution. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed. -s/d- Assistant Registrar(CCC) True Copy Sub-Assistant Registrar smn To
