By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

2.The petitioner claims to be the owner of the property in plot no.538 - B (Part) admeasuring to an extent of 3200 sq.ft. through a registered sale deed bearing document no.9237 of 2012 dated 17.12.2012 registered on the file of the Sub-Registrar Office, Tiruvottiyur, Chennai and he made application dated 13.06.2016 to the respondent praying for survey and measurement of the land and despite, receipt of the same, no orders have been passed and hence, came forward to file this writ petition. 3.Heard the submissions of Mr.P.Anbazhagan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.R.A.S.Senthilvel, learned Additional Government Pleader who accepts notice on behalf of the respondent.

4.Though the petitioner prayed for the larger relief, this Court in the light of the above facts and circumstances and without going into the merits of the same, directs the respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation/ application dated 13.06.2016, in accordance with law, after putting on notice, the rival claimants namely, Tvl.Srinivasan and Prabakaran and pass orders, within a period of ten weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner. 5.The writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
