ORDER
The revision petitioner is the husband who has initiated proceedings before VII Additional Principal Family Court, Chennai. The respondent/wife has also initiated proceedings in OP No.5043 of 2022 for restitution of conjugal rights. Both the petitions are taken up together and tried jointly.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner/husband submits that though trial 1/6
commenced in the year 2024 and the revision petitioner/husband has been examined as P.W.1 and documents have been marked, there is no progress in the trial and the respondent/wife is repeatedly adjournments for some reasons.
3. The relief sought for in this revision is only for expediting OP No.2600 of 2021 which is being tried along with OP No.5043 of 222, as both are pending before VII Additional Principal Family Court, Chennai.
4. Considering the fact that both the petitions are pending from 2021 and 2022, a direction is issued to the learned Judge, VII Additional Principal Family Court, Chennai to dispose of O.P.Nos.2600 of 2021 and 5043 of 2022 finally on or before 31.12.2025.
5. With the above direction, the Civil Revision Petition is allowed. No costs.
