(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Acting Chief Justice) This petition has been filed to condone the delay of 470 days in filing the writ appeal.

2. The petitioner has not filed any affidavit in support of the petition to condone a huge delay of 470 days. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that due to pandemic, the petitioner could not file the appeal in time.

3. This Court is not satisfied with the submission made by learned counsel for the petitioner. The petitioner ought to have filed an affidavit spelling out the reasons for the inordinate delay. It is not known when the petitioner applied for copy of the order; when it was obtained and what was the actual reason for the delay. The petitioner has miserably failed to satisfy this Court about the reasons for the delay. The delay condone petition is filed in a very casual and lethargic manner.

Hence this Court is not inclined to condone the delay. The petition stands dismissed.
