ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence under Sections 406, 420 of I.P.C. in Cr.No.587 of 2021 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the defacto complainant conducted an un-recognized chit and the petitioner is alleged to have taken the chit amount in advance and thereafter failed to pay the amount.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution.

4.The learned Government Advocate submitted that investigation reveals that the chit amount cheated by the petitioner is to the tune of Rs.8 Lakhs.
