Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein the High Court will be pleased to modify the condition no.2 imposed on the petitioner in Crl.O.P.No.29690 & 29689 of 2017 dated 14.02.2018 and direct the petitioner to appear before the respondent police daily at 10.30 a.m until further orders. Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.V.S.SENTHILKUMAR, Advocate for the petitioner (in both the petitions) and of MR. BHRATHA CHAKRAVARTHY, Additional Public Prosecutor, (Pondicherry) on behalf of the Respondent (in both the petitions) the court made the following order:- While granting anticipatory bail to the petitioner under orders dated 14.02.2018 in Crl.O.P.Nos.29689 and 29690 of 2017, this Court has imposed certain conditions. One of the conditions imposed was that the petitioner has to stay at Karaikal and report before the Karaikal Town Police Station daily at 10.30 a.m. until further orders. Seeking modification of such condition, the present petitions have been filed.

2. Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor (Pondicherry).

Considering the submissions made as also the fact that the

petitioner/A2 is aged 72, this Court modifies the condition requiring the petitioner to stay at Karaikal and report before the Karaikal Town Police Station daily at 10.30 a.m. until further orders to one of requiring the petitioner to report before the respondent police daily at 10.30 a.m. until further orders.
