A.No.4061 of 2021 A.No.4061 of 2021 in C.S.No.280 of 2018 (Comm.Suits) N.ANAND VENKATESH, J ., This application has been filed by the applicants/defendants seeking the leave of this Court to file documents.

2. Heard Mr.G.Veerapathiran, learned counsel for applicants and Mr.V.Manisekaran, learned counsel for respondent.

3. The documents that are sought to be relied upon by the applicants pertains to the proceedings in the criminal case. The relevant questions were put to the witnesses during the cross-examination pertaining to the criminal case and all that was denied. Hence, the applicants want to rely upon these documents to substantiate their own defence.

4. In the considered view of this Court, the documents in question pertains to the criminal proceedings and no prejudice will be caused if the applicants/defendants are allowed to mark these documents. It goes without saying that the same will be subject to relevancy, admissibility and proof.
