ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.) This writ petition has been filed, seeking the issuance of a writ of mandamus forbearing the respondents herein from opening TASMAC liquor shop in and around Jothi Nagar, Kelambakkam Panchayat, Tiruporur Taluk, Kanchipuram District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 29.06.2018. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the parties. 3.Though a larger prayer has been sought for in this public interest litigation, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner would be satisfied if the representation made by him on 29.06.2018 is directed to be considered by the first respondent.

4.Considering the said submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, without going into the merits of the case, the first respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 29.06.2018 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
