This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to direct the first respondent-Police not to harass the petitioner.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondentPolice and perused the materials available on record.
3. Learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent-Police submitted that the second respondent lodged a complaint as against the petitioner before the first respondent-Police. The respondent-police had issued summon to the petitioner for enquiry. After enquiry, the respondent-Police found that dispute between the parties is civil in nature and closed the complaint. As on date, neither a complaint nor an F.I.R is pending as against the petitioner. Hence, there is no question of harassment is made out.
4. The petitioner has filed this criminal original petition only on
mere apprehension. On a perusal of the records, this Court finds that no material is available to show that the respondent-Police is harassing the petitioner. Moreover, as on date, no complaint is pending as against the petitioner before the first respondent Police.
5. In view of the above, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
