..Respondent(s) PRAYER: The Criminal Miscellaneous Petition has been filed under Section 528 of Cr.P.C. to modify the condition of appearing before the respondent police daily at 10.30 am for a period of two weeks and thereafter every Saturday at 10.30 am until further orders imposed in para no.6(b) in Crl.O.P.No.10938 of 2026 dated 29.04.2026 as to appear before the Inspector of Police, MGR Nagar Police Station, Jafferkhanpet, Chennai.

ORDER

This petition has been filed to relax the condition imposed in Crl.O.P.No.10938 of 2026 dated 29.04.2026 directing the Petitioner to appear

before the Inspector of Police, MGR Nagar Police Station, Jafferkhanpet, Chennai.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has been complying the condition regularly and he finds difficult to do his job and hence, prays to modify the condition as to sign before the District Munsif-cumJudicial Magistrate Court, Valangaiman.

3. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent Police has not seriously objected to modify the condition as prayed for.

4. Therefore, this Court is inclined to modify the condition imposed in Crl.O.P.No.10938 of 2026 dated 29.04.2026 that "the petitioner shall sign before the respondent police every day at 10.30 a.m for a period of 2 weeks and thereafter every Saturday at 10.30 a.m. until further orders" is modified to the effect that "the petitioner shall appear before the District Munsif-cumJudicial Magistrate Court, Valangaiman daily at 10.30 a.m. for a period of one week and thereafter as and when required by the respondent police for interrogation". The other conditions imposed earlier shall remain unaltered.

5. Accordingly, this criminal miscellaneous petition is ordered. 18-06-2026 MJS Note:
