PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to issue direction to the 2nd respondent to register the petitioners complaint dated 28.05.2020 for the offences under Sections 406, 420 of IPC and Section 76(1) of Chit Funds Act and expedite the investigation within the stipulated time.

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent to register the petitioners complaint dated 28.05.2020 for the offences under Sections 406, 420 of IPC and Section 76(1) of Chit Funds Act and expedite the investigation within the stipulated time.

2. It is seen that the petitioner has lodged complaint before the respondent Police on 28.05.2020 and the same is still pending without any progress.

3.In view of the same, the respondent police is directed to conduct enquiry, on the complaint lodged by the petitioners after issuing notice to the petitioners and dispose of the same, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
