JUDGMENT
(Judgment of the Court was delivered by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.) Parties are present.
This appeal has been preferred by the appellant challenging the decree of divorce granted on the ground of cruelty in favour of the respondent.
After spending substantial time with the parties in the presence of counsels, the following agreement has been arrived at.
[i] The respondent shall the pay appellant a sum of Rs.8500/- [Rupees eight thousand five hundred only] per month payable on or before 7th of every English Calendar month starting from March 2020 and the amount shall be deposited into the account of the appellant in her account No. 34569076403 and CIF No.88079206553 of State Bank of India, Madhavaram Branch, Chennai. [ii] This payment would continue until the child born out of the wedlock attains majority.
[iii] The appellant will not have any claim https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
against the respondent in future and so also the respondent against the appellant.
[iv] The respondent shall have visitation right of the child during the second Saturday of every month till he attains majority and the meeting shall take place in a common place as suggested by the appellant. The appellant is also permitted to be present during the meeting of the child and the respondent, since the child has not met the respondent for about 8 years. The appeal filed by the appellant stands dismissed confirming the decree for divorce granted by the Principal Judge, Family Court, Chennai in O.P.No.3475 of 2013, while eschewing the finding rendered.
