ORDER
By consent of learned counsel on both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

The present writ petition is filed praying for a writ of mandamus to direct the respondents to consider petitioner's online application dated 31.08.2023 made in challan No.20230831007010 for surveying the property situate at S.No.117/1A, 117/1C, Pallipatti Village, Sendhamangalam Taluk, Namakkal District within a time frame fixed by this Court.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that petitioner's mother purchased the property comprised in S.No.117/1, measuring an extent of 1 acre and 39 cents, situated at Pallipatti Village, Sendhamangalam Taluk, Namakkal District vide sale deed dated 22.02.1981. Petitioner's mother died intestate, petitioner being her only legal heir, the above said property devolved on the petitioner. Petitioner has been in possession and enjoyment of the same. It is further submitted that patta in S.No.117/1 is sub divided as S.No.117/1A measuring 1 acre and 11 cents and S.No.117/1C measuring 0.06 cents. Patta is issued only for 1 acre and 17 cents while remaining 22 cents were 2/5
left out from S.No.117/1A 1C and wrongly included in S.No.117/4. Having regard to the same, the petitioner sent a online representation dated 31.08.2023 seeking the respondents to survey the subject land. However, the said representation has not been considered till date. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner has come before this Court.
4.On this being pointed out, the learned Special Government Pleader would submit that they would consider the petitioner's online application dated 31.08.2023 and carry out a survey, demarcate the subject property and complete the process within a time frame to be fixed by this Court, which was agreed to by the learned counsel for the petitioner.

In view thereof, the writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to the respondents to consider petitioner's online application/representation dated 31.08.2023 and carry out a survey, demarcate the subject property and complete the process within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after giving prior notice to the petitioner, adjacent land owners and other interested parties including rival claimants if any. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any views with regard to the merits of the case and it is open to the concerned respondent to consider the matter on its own merits and in 3/5
accordance with law.
