ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed praying direction to the second respondent to transfer the investigation of the petitioner's complaint dated 01.07.2022 to some other police officer.

The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that the petitioner has given a complaint dated 01.07.2022 to the respondents to conduct enquiry with regard to his representation made thereon. He further submitted that based on his complaint, they conducted an enquiry and found that on 26.06.2022 at 9.45.p.m., while the petitioner returning from Tiruttani to Nallattur, the Police, belonging to Nagari Police Station, Andra Pradesh State, took him to the Nagari Police Station for enquiry, with regard to the case in Crime No.12 of 2022 under Section 379 IPC registered on 15.01.2022 on the file of Nagari Police Station.
3. It is submitted by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) that the accused in Crime No.12 of 2022 had given a confession statement that, they handed over the stolen jewels to the petitioner herein and it was pledged by him in the Pawn Broker Shop at N.N.Kandigai Villge and the accused persons received the amount from the petitioner. In view of the above confession, the police belonging Andra Pradesh State conducted enquiry and it is pending. He further submitted that, in order to evade from the offence committed by the petitioner, he gave the false complaint and hence, the petition may be closed. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) has also placed the report of the Sub Inspector of Police, Thiruvalangadu Police Station, Thiruvallur District, before this Court.
4. Recording the above statement made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), this criminal original petition is closed.
