By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2.The petitioner is a senior citizen who seeks a direction to the 1st respondent to dispose of the appeal dated 24.04.2023 under Section 16 of the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007. 3.Mr.G.Ameedius, the learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents.

4.The 1st respondent is now required to dispose of the appeal dated 24.04.2023 within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of an online copy or the date on which the order is hosted in the official website, whichever is earlier. 2/4
