ORDER

The petitioner has filed this Criminal Original Petition to call for the records relating to the FIR in Crime No.264 of 2013 pending on the file of the first respondent police and quash the same.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that in the case in Crime No.264 of 2013, after completion of investigation, charge sheet was filed before the learned XI Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, Chennai and the same was taken on file as CC No.5141 of 2013. Subsequently, after trial, the petitioners were also acquitted from the charges by order dated 17.02.2014. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. Since the charge sheet has already been filed in Crime No.264/2013 and the case ended in acquittal, nothing survives for adjudication in this matter. Hence, recording the submission so made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
