ORDER

This writ petition has been filed, directing the respondents 5 and 6 herein to take appropriate action on the petitioner's representation dated

20.05.2025 and pass appropriate orders.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner's husband, late Anbalagan was working as a Sub Inspector of Police in the Tamil Nadu Police Department. On 07.08.2023, he availed a personal loan for a sum of Rs.6,00,000/- from the State Bankof India, Fort Main Road Branch, Salem and also took an Insurance policy on the said personal loan from the 4 th and 5 th respondents. The petitioner's husband had been regularly repaying the monthly instalment of Rs.11,903/- from 05.09.2023 until his death. Unfortunately, he died on 01.12.2024 due to illness. Thereafter, the petitioner submitted a death claim form, and the same was forwarded by the State Bank of India to the 5 th respondent/ Insurance Company. However, the 5 th respondent repudiated the death claim as per its letter dated 01.04.202, against which the petitioner preferred an appeal before the 6 th respondent Review Committee on 20.05.2025. However, no order has been passed. Hence the present writ petition has been filed.

3. In response to the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned counsel for the respondents 5 and 6 submits that the petitioner's appeal dated 20.05.2025 was considered and an order was passed on 20.08.2025.

4.In view of the above, no further order is required. Therefore, this writ petition is closed. The petitioner is at liberty to work out her remedy in the manner known to law. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
