M.Sivaprakasam ..Respondent(s) Prayer: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 11.05.2026 as per RTI Reply dated 29.04.2026 to conduct re-enquiry on the complaint given by the petitioner dated 12.08.2023 to the 3rd respondent against the 5th respondent for demanding bribe to remove the third parties names from the petitioner's patta.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for a direction directing the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 11.05.2026 seeking re-enquiry on the complaint lodged by the petitioner dated 12.08.2023. 2.The petitioner lodged a complaint before the respondents 1 to 3 as against the fifth respondent alleging that the fifth respondent demanded huge sum of money as bribe from the petitioner to not to implicate the other persons in the joint patta issued in respect of the subject property, which was not considered and as such, the petitioner filed a Writ Petition before this Court in W.P.No.29045 of 2023 and this Court by order dated 10.10.2023 directed the first respondent herein to conduct an enquiry and pass appropriate orders.

Accordingly, the first respondent conducted a detained enquiry and passed an order dated 18.03.2024 stating that no valid evidence were produced against the fifth respondent for his unlawful demand and hence, the fifth respondent was discharged from the charges. Thereafter, the fifth respondent issued a joint patta including the other party names and the same was challenged by the petitioner before the Revenue Divisional Officer and that too came to be dismissed.

Aggrieved by the same, a Writ Petition has been been filed before this Court and the same is pending.

3.While that being so, the petitioner has now submitted a representation dated 11.05.2026 seeking re-enquiry on the complaint lodged by the petitioner dated 12.08.2023, which does not arise, since already a detailed enquiry has been conducted on the compliant lodged by the petitioner and an order dated 18.03.2024 has been passed. Without challenging the said order, the petitioner has now sought for re-enquiry into the very same compliant, which is not appropriate.

4.Therefore, the Writ Petition (Criminal) is devoid of any merits and stands dismissed. No costs.
