Respondents Prayer : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus to direct the first respondent to consider the petitioner Review Petition dated 4.7.2023 and consequently dismiss the appeal order dated 27.4.2023 issued by the second respondent.

ORDER

(Order of the court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) We have heard Mr.D.Bharathy, learned counsel for the petitioners and Mr.P.Muthukumar, learned State Government Pleader for the respondents.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the revisions filed by the petitioners against the rejection of the appeals filed by them are pending before the first respondent.

3. Learned State Government Pleader, on instructions, submits that the revisions are pending before the first respondent.

4. In the light of the said submission, the petitioners shall appear before the first respondent on 5.9.2023 and present their

case. The first respondent shall endeavour to decide the revisions, on its own merits and in accordance with law, expeditiously. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. There will be no order as to costs. There will be no order as to costs. Consequently, W.M.P.No.24478 of 2023 is closed. W.M.P.No.24476 of 2023 filed by the petitioners to file a single writ petition stands allowed and disposed of.
