O R D E R

The petitioners have filed the above Writ Petition to issue a Writ of mandamus directing the respondents 3 & 4 to sub-divide

the lands in S.No.49/3A1A1A1A1 with respect to Old S.No.49/3 (12 1⁄2 cents) and 49/5 (30 cents) of No.3, Othivakkam Village, Thirukazhukundram Taluk, Kanchipuram District belonging to the petitioners and grant patta to the petitioners based on the application dated 13.02.2020.

2.Mr.K.Parameswaran, learned Government Advocate taking notice for the respondents submitted that the 4th respondent had issued notice to the petitioners calling upon them to be present for surveying the land on 07.01.2021 and after surveying the land, the 4th respondent would send the report to the 3rd respondent, in turn the 3rd respondent would pass orders. 3.In view of the submission made by the learned Government Advocate for the respondents, I direct the 4th respondent to complete the enquiry scheduled to be held on 07.01.2021 and send the report to the 3rd respondent within a period of four weeks from 07.01.2021 and in turn, the 3rd respondent is directed to pass orders based on the report to be submitted by the 4th respondent within four weeks from the date of receipt of the report.

4.With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
