The relief sought for in the present writ petition is to direct the respondent for revaluation of the three Law Papers i.e. Law Paper-I, Law Paper-II, and Law paper-III in the Main Examination conducted on 04.11.2023 and 05.11.2023 for the post of the Civil Judge in the Tamil Nadu State Judicial Service in Notification No. 12/2023 dated 01.06.2023 published by the respondent under the registration No. 1701001052 and Application No. 2312009284 within a stipulated time.

2. The petitioner admittedly participated in the process of selection to the post of Civil Judge Junior Division. She was unsuccessful in the selection process and her name was not found in the selection list. The petitioner 2/5

submitted an application to the respondents to furnish the certified copy of the answer scripts. Since the respondents have not considered the same, the present writ petition came to be instituted.

3. Clause 21(a) of the recruitment notification states that "No candidate is permitted to peruse/obtain copies of the answer sheets (Preliminary and Main Examination) till finalisation of the recruitment process." The learned counsel for the respondent would submit that the recruitment process is yet to be completed and the Government has not passed orders appointing the selected candidates. Therefore, the request of the petitioner cannot be considered.

4. In view of the fact that the recruitment process is yet to be completed, the petitioner is at liberty to submit an application after completion of the process and in the event of receiving any such application, the first respondent may consider the same in accordance with the rules applicable.
