This writ petition has been filed seeking for a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records relating to No.33/ECR/2004/W&G dated 20.3.2004 passed by the respondent herein and quash the same and further direct the respondent to absorb the members of the petitioner's union. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2.When the matter was taken up for hearing, Ms.B.Saraswathi, learned counsel appearing for the respondent submitted that the relief sought in this writ petition has become infructuous as the impugned tender had been proceeded with during the pendency of the writ petition. She further submitted that there had also been engagement of contractors through subsequent tender notifications.

3.Recording the same, this Writ Petition stands disposed as nothing survives for adjudication in the matter. However, this would not preclude the concerned workman to seek redressal of any grievance that they may have in a manner recognized by law. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are also closed. No costs.
