ORDER

This petition has been filed to modify the condition imposed in Crl.O.P.No.13348 of 2026 dated 20.05.2026 directing the Petitioner to stay at Villupuram and Sign before the Judicial Magistrate No.I, Villupuram daily at 10.30 a.m. and 5.30 p.m. until further orders.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the wife of the petitioner is now 8 months pregnant and she requires care and assistance and therefore, the petitioner is not able to comply with the above said condition as directed by this Court and hence, prayed to modify the condition as to appear before the District Munsif-cum-Judicial Magistrate, Sriperumbudur.

3. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent Police has strongly objected for modification stating that the petitioner has not complied with the condition even for a single day.

4. Considering the fact that the petitioner has not at all complied the condition even for a single day, this Court is not inclined to consider the prayer of the petitioner.

5. Accordingly, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is dismissed. 17-06-2026 MJS Note:
