O R D E R
The Writ Petition has been filed seeking to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent herein to provide police protection from the place of the petitioner's house at Kalainger Puram. Manavur Village, Thiruthani Taluk, Thiruvallur District and to the petitioner practicing court from Manavur to High Court at Madras.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents 1 and 2.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is a practicing advocate and she has filed a Public Interest 2/6
Litigation case in W.P No.18822 of 2020 to remove the unlawful encroachment on Panchayat Public Road at 3rd Street, Kalainger Puram, Manavur Village, Thiruthani Taluk, Tiruvallur District. In the above writ petition, the Hon'ble Division Bench of this Court had passed the following order:
Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the officials respondents to remove the encroachments for which notices have already been served on the encroachers as per law. The action for it would be taken within a period of two weeks. However, it would be subject to any interim order or final order to be passed in the revision petitions during the intervening period of two weeks. If no interim order or final order is passed on the revision petitions within the intervening period indicated above, the official respondents are directed to proceed to remove the encroachments. No costs. Consequently, W.M.P No23398 of 2020 is closed.
4. The learned Additional Pubic Prosecutor submitted that the representation of the petitioner is received by the 2nd respondent and it would be taken up for consideration.

The records would show that the petitioner gave a representation to the 1st respondent on 16.09.2021 and to the 2nd respondent on 04.10.2021 seeking for police protection. Despite she is explaining in detail why she is facing the serious threat due to her involvement in obtaining an order from the Court, so far no action has been taken. This is a matter in which, the 2nd respondent ought to have taken appropriate action and done the needful in accordance with law.
6. In view of the same, the 2nd respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 04.10.2021 and do the needful in accordance with law, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
7. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
