Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus forbearing the respondents from terminating the Xerox (Photostat) service of the petitioner to the respondent Corporation and also direct the respondents to notify fresh tender process transparently after giving due notice to all the concerned and also to direct the respondents to open the tenders submitted in the presence of all the participants in the tender for the purpose of Xerox (Photostat) service to the Corporation.

O R D E R

The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus forbearing the respondents from terminating the Xerox (Photostat) service of the petitioner to the respondent Corporation and also to direct the respondents to notify fresh tender process transparently after giving due notice to all the concerned and also to direct the respondents to open the tenders submitted in the presence of all the participants in the tender for the purpose of Xerox (Photostat) service to the Corporation.

2.The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner was appointed for providing Xerox (Photostat) service to the respondent Corporation from 15.07.2015 and the service of the petitioner was extended from time to time. Whileso, the second https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

respondent called for fresh tender for providing Xerox service from 21.10.2021 and the petitioner also submitted his tender, however no public announcement was made as to when the tenders will be opened.

In this regard, the petitioner made representation dated 01.10.2021 to the respondents and since there was no response has filed this writ petition. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that that without going into the merits of the case, it would suffice, if this Court issues direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 01.10.2021 and to pass appropriate orders within a reasonable time frame.

4.Considering the limited request made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 01.10.2021, on merits and in accordance with law and to pass appropriate orders, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
