passed by the respondent no.3 and quash the same as illegal, consequently direct the Respondent Nos. 3 to 5 not to hunt the Tiger identified as MDT 23 in exercise of the power vested in the Central Government as provided under the Wild Life Protection Act.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) Since this petition pertains to the tiger identified as MDT 23 and it has been recorded in an order passed on October 21, 2021 that the relevant tiger has been captured alive, nothing survives of the present petition.

Accordingly, WP No.22585 of 2021 is disposed of. WMP Nos.23813 and 23815 of 2021 are closed. There will be no order as to costs.
