This petition has been filed to condone the delay of 95 days in re-presenting the appeal in C.M.A.SR.No.10489 of 2026 as against the award dated 18.09.2025 made in M.C.O.P.No.982 of 2022 by the learned Special Subordinate Judge, Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Cuddalore. 1/4

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that if the matter is referred to the National Lok Adalat, there is a likelihood for an amicable settlement between the parties and hence, the delay of 95 days in representing the appeal may be condoned and the main appeal may be numbered and posted before the Lok Adalat.

3. Ms.Ramya V.Rao, learned counsel, takes notice on behalf of the 1st respondent and she submitted that she has no objection to this petition being allowed and for the matter to be referred to the Lok Adalat to explore the possibilities of an amicable settlement.

4. The reasons adduced in the affidavit filed in support of this petition being satisfactory and also considering the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, this petition stands ordered and consequently, the delay of 95 days in representing the above appeal is condoned.

5. Registry is directed to number the appeal, if it is otherwise in order and post the case before the National Lok Adalat scheduled to be held on 13.06.2026.

6. The parties shall appear before the National Lok Adalat on 13.06.2026, without expecting any further notice from this Court. 11.06.2026 skt 2/4
