Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a WRIT OF HABEAS CORPUS to call for the records relating to the Impugned order in BDFGISSSV No.803/2016 dated 30.07.2016 on the file of Second Respondent herein and set aside the same as illegal and Direct to the Respondents to produce the detenu Sabari, son of Nandakumar, aged about 30 years, now confined at Central Prison, Puzhal, Chennai before this Court and set him at liberty. [Order of the Court was made by S.NAGAMUTHU, J.] Challenge is made to the order of detention passed by the second respondent vide Proceedings in BCDFGISSSV No.803/2016 dated 30.07.2016, whereby the detenu, namely Sabari, S/o.Nandakumar, aged about 30 years, was ordered to be detained https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

under GOONDA as contemplated Section 2(f) of the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982.

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the order of detention passed by the second respondent as against the husband of the petitioner dated 30.07.2016 has been revoked by the Government in G.O. Rt. No.4637 HOME, PROHIBITION & EXCISE (X) DEPARTMENT, dated 28.09.2016 and he has also produced a copy of the said order.

3. Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this petition is dismissed as infructuous.
