O R D E R

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondent to consider his application dated 05.07.2023 for regularization of unapproved plot.

2. According to the petitioner, he owns a plot measuring to an extent of 4172 sq.ft., comprised in T.S.No.94/1B2C in Ayyamperumpatti Village, Salem Corporation. The said plot is an unapproved one. Therefore, he filed an application before the respondent on 05.07.2023 seeking regularization of the unapproved plot as per the regularization scheme 2017 and he also expressed his willingness to pay necessary charges.

3. The main grievance of the petitioner is that his application seeking regularization has not been considered by the respondent.

4. Mrs.N.Devi, learned Standing Counsel takes notice for the respondent and submitted that the application was made by the petitioner only on 05.07.2023 without giving breathing time for the respondent to consider the application, he rushed to this Court.

5. In view of the limited prayed made in this Writ Petition, 2/4

without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court is inclined to issue a direction to the first respondent to consider the application of the petitioner dated 05.07.2023 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
