Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a WRIT OF HABEAS CORPUS to call for the records relating to the detention order in Memo No.724/2016, dated 16.07.2016 passed by the 2nd respondent under the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982 and set aside the same and direct the respondent to Produce the petitioner's son Vignesh @ Choolai Vicky S/o. Selvaraj the detenu, now confined in Central Prison, Puzhal, Chennai before this court and set detenu herein at liberty.

[Order of the Court was made by S.NAGAMUTHU, J.] Challenge is made to the order of detention passed by the second respondent vide Proceedings No.724/BCDFGISSSV/2016 dated 16.07.2016, whereby the detenu, namely Vignesh @ Choolai Vicky, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

S/o.Selvaraj, aged about 24 years, was ordered to be detained under GOONDA as contemplated Section 2(f) of the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982.

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the order of detention passed by the second respondent as against the mother of the petitioner dated 16.07.2016 has been revoked by the Government in G.O. Rt. No.4134 HOME, PROHIBITION & EXCISE (X) DEPARTMENT, dated 31.08.2016 and he has also produced a copy of the said order.
