O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for the issue of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 4, in particular, the 3 rd respondent to deal with the representation made by the petitioner on 01.03.2025, wherein the petitioner has alleged that the private respondents are collecting funds from the general public in the name of the temple and misappropriating the same in the guise of conducting Kumbabishegam for the temple.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the HR&CE Department produced written instructions received from the 5 th respondent. The relevant portions are extracted hereunder :

3. It is clear from the above that HR&CE Department has already conducted the Kumbabishegam festival in a proper manner and the properties of the temple are properly safeguarded. In view of the above, the above stand taken by the HR&CE Department is recorded and this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
