Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the prayer sought for in the writ petition has become infructuous and also made an endorsement to that effect. In view of the endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, nothing survives for further consideration and hence, the writ petition stands closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
