C.M.P.No.18851 of 2023 in C.M.A.No.Sr.5940 of 2023 SUNDER MOHAN,J.

This Petition has been filed by the Petitioner/Insurance Company seeking to condone the delay of 3449 days in filing the above captioned C.M.A.

2.The Insurance Company has filed the appeal challenging the findings of the Tribunal with regard to the negligence as well as the quantum of compensation with the delay of 3448 days. 3.This Court finds that the delay has not been sufficiently explained. The only reason stated by the petitioner was that the delay was occurred due to the want of approval from the head office. The said explanation is insufficient. Therefore, this Court is not inclined to condone the huge delay of 3449 days.
