The petition is to quash the final report in C.C.No.823 of 2020 pending on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.VI, Salem for the alleged offences under Sections 120 B, 420, 409 and 289 of the Indian Penal Code.

2.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the first respondent reported that trial has commenced and nearly twenty six witnesses have already been examined out of fifty one witnesses.

3. In view of the advanced stage of the trial, this Court is not inclined to entertain this petition. However, the petitioner is at liberty to raise all his contentions before the trial Court.

4. With the above observations, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
