ORDER

(Made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) None appears for the petitioner. We have heard Mr.C.Kathiravan, learned Special Government Pleader, for respondents 1 to 3.

2. The petitioner seeks directions to make necessary arrangements to form a sports ground under the Amma Rural Youth Sports Federation Scheme along with provision of necessary sports apparatus for Kannalam Village, Valathi Post, Melmalayanur Taluk, Villupuram District.

3. Construction of a sports facility is a policy decision to be taken by the Government. Question of availability of funds also would be

required to be taken into account. A representation dated 22.12.2021, has been given by the petitioner. The respondents may consider the said representation on merits and in accordance with law, preferably within a period of nine months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. The writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
