This contempt petition has been filed to punish the respondent for wilful disobedience of the order dated 29.01.2024 in W.P.No.1652 of 2024 on the file of this Court.

2. On 23.10.2024, this Court has passed the following order: " The order does not prevent the petitioner from proceeding with the work after causing notice to the respondent Corporation.

2. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the respondent Corporation that the petitioner did not commence any work.

3. However, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the respondent did not allow the petitioner to continue the work.

4. This blame game cannot be encouraged by this Court. Hence, both sides are required to file an affidavit stating that the petitioner has commenced the work and that the respondent is not going to obstruct the same.

5. List the matter on 28.10.2024."

3. In pursuant to the above order, the respondent has filed an affidavit stating that he will not obstruct the work that might be carried by the petitioner in terms of the impugned order.

4. By recording the aforesaid affidavit, this Contempt Petition is closed. No costs.
