This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the third respondent to act upon the representation of the petitioner dated 19.02.2024 wherein the petitioner has sought for providing electricity connection in her name.

2. Heard Ms.T.Lavanya, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.R.Sreedhar, learned Additional Government Pleader (P) appearing for respondents 1 to 4.

3. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and without going into the merits of the case, there shall be a direction to the third respondent to act upon the representation of the petitioner dated 19.02.2024 after affording opportunity to the fifth respondent and take a decision on its own merits and in accordance with law within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
