O R D E R

The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 3rd respondent to transfer patta in the name of the petitioner herein with respect of her land to an extent of 1300 sq.ft comprised in Survey No.46/31 as per sub-division Survey No.46/3-P in Alagapuram Village, Salem Taluk, as per the Extract from the Town Survey Land Register - Survey No.37, Block - 14, Ward - D, Salem West, Town: Salem District.

2.Mr.R.Dilli Kumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that though the petitioner has submitted her online application for transfer of patta as early as on 17.08.2020, the 3rd respondent has not passed any order so far. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3.Mr.Annai Ezhil, learned Government Advocate taking notice for the respondents submitted that the 3rd respondent had issued notice to the petitioner calling upon her to appear for an enquiry on 07.01.2021 and that the 3rd respondent would pass orders within a period of four weeks thereafter. 4.Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side and taking into consideration the submission made by the learned Government Advocate, I direct the 3rd respondent to consider the petitioner's online application dated 17.08.2020 for patta transfer and pass orders within a period of four weeks from 07.01.2021. 5.With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
