This writ petition has been filed seeking a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 03.07.2024 with regard to survey and fix boundary stones in the petitioner's property comprised in Survey No.2/5 at Kallukanur Village, Uthangarai (P.O.) & Taluk, Krishnagiri District within a stipulated time.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent and perused the materials available on record.

The case of the petitioner is that he inherited the subject property by virtue of a registered Partition Deed dated 13.02.2013 and he is continuous possession and enjoyment of the said property and had also obtained patta in No.28. It is the grievance of the petitioner that though he has given a representation on 03.07.2024 to the respondent, requesting to survey the said property and demarcate its boundaries and also paid necessary fees, the same has not been considered by the respondent till date. Hence, the present Writ Petition.

Considering the limited relief sought in this writ petition, the respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 03.07.2024 and pass appropriate orders on the petitioner's representation to survey the property and demarcate the boundaries, after giving notice to the neighbouring land owners and any other interested persons, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
