ORDER

This criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent Police to complete the investigation and file a final report in Crime No.1927 of 2020 on the file of the respondent police.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent Police, on instructions from the Investigation Officer, submitted that the investigation is almost completed and the report from the Motor Vehicles Inspector is awaited. After receipt of such report, the final report will be filed within a period of two months.

3. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), this Court directs the respondent Police to complete the investigation and file the final report in Crime No. 1927 of 2020 within a period of two months from the date of receipt of the report from the Motor Vehicles Inspector.
