The petitioner who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 406, 408 and 420 of IPC in Crime No.234 of 2022 seeks anticipatory bail.
2. There are totally three accused involved in this case, in which, the petitioner is arrayed as A1. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner along with others looted to the tune of Rs.1,40,00,000/-. It is further alleged that the petitioner while working as a Administrative Executive, misappropriated to the tune of Rs.70,72,377/-. Hence, the complaint.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has not committed any such offence as alleged by the prosecution. Therefore, he prays to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) would submit that the petitioner along with others looted total tune of Rs.1,40,00,000/-. It is further alleged that the petitioner while working as a Administrative Executive, misappropriated to the tune of Rs.70,72,377/-. Hence, he vehemently opposed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Considering the above facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the submissions made by both counsel and also the fact that the misappropriation amount involved in this case is very huge, this Court is of the view that the custodial interrogation of the petitioner is very much required and hence, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
6. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. Vv 23.08.2022 2/3
