The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the 3rd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 23.04.2024 for issue of Patta No.8 with correct extent as 0.24 cents instead of 0.20 cents of land in Survey No.1/21 situated in Mangalam Village, Thirukkazhukundram Taluk,

According to the petitioner, as per the title document namely Settlement Deed dated 21.07.2016 executed by the husband of the petitioner namely Yurjun Raja, the property with an extent of 0.24 cents comprised in Survey No.1/21 situated in Mangalam Village, Thirukkazhukundram Taluk, Chengalpattu District was settled in her favour. When the petitioner applied for issue of patta, mistakenly she was issued Patta No.8 with an extent of 0.20 cents instead of 0.24 cents. Therefore, she has made a representation to the respondents on 23.04.2024 seeking issuance of patta with correct extent namely 0.24 cents. The said representation has not been considered by the respondents. Hence, the petitioner has come by way of this writ petition.

3. Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents, on instructions, submitted that the petitioner's 2/4

representation dated 23.04.2024 will be considered by the 3rd respondent within a period fixed by this Court.

In view of the limited prayer made by the petitioner in this writ petition, without going into the merits of the claim of the petitioner, this Court is inclined to direct the 3rd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 23.04.2024 and pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
