Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the Official respondents to treat the petitioner's candidature in OC Category and correct the mistake in filling the application for NEET as OC Category instead of the inadvertently filled as OBC, consequentially direct the respondents to process petitioner's admission and confirm the same as per the Allotment Letter issued by the 2nd respondent.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for a direction directing the respondents to treat the petitioner's candidature in OC category and correct the mistake in filling the application for NEET as OC category instead of the inadvertently filled as OBC, consequentially direct the respondents to process petitioner's admission and confirm the same as per the allotment letter issued by the second respondent.

2. Heard Mr.B.Manoharan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Ms.Subharanjani Anand, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the

first respondent, Mr.R.Thirunavukarasu, learned counsel appearing for the second respondent and perused the materials available on record.

3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the respondents are directed to treat the petitioner's candidature in OC Category. The petitioner is permitted to undergo the course under OC Category which he has already joined.

4. With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
