ORDER

By consent of learned counsel on both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 2.The present writ petition is filed praying for a writ of mandamus to direct the 3rd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 26.07.2024 to rectify the extent of land in computerized Chitta comprised in S.F.Nos.3/1 and 3/4, shown as measuring an extent of 4.59 acres instead of 4.07 Acres situated at Singalandapuram Village, Rasipuram Taluk, Namakkal District.

3.It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that petitioner is the owner of the subject property comprised in S.F.No.3/1, measuring an extent of 1.05 hectares and S.F.No.3/4, measuring an extent of 0.64 hectares in all measuring 4.47 acres, situated at 2/6

Singalandapuram Village, Rasipuram Taluk, Namakkal District. Patta stands in the name of petitioner vide Patta No.591. It is submitted that computerised chitta has been presently issued for 4.07 acres alone instead of 4.47 acres.

5.It is submitted that petitioner submitted a representation dated 26.07.2024 before the respondents seeking rectification of computerized chitta. However, the above representation has not been considered by the respondents till date. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner has come before this Court.

6.At the outset, it is submitted by the learned Government Advocate appearing for respondents that petitioner's representation dated 26.07.2024 would be considered and appropriate orders would be passed within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after issuing notice to petitioner and any other interested party, which was agreed to by the learned counsel for petitioner. 7.Recording the same, the writ petition stands disposed of. 3/6

No costs. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any views with regard to the merits of the case and it is open to the concerned respondent to consider the case on its own merits and in accordance with law.
