Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, direct the 1st and 2nd respondents to survey and mark the boundaries of the land belonging to the Petitioner in Villupuram District, Villupuram R.D, Naraiyur Village, in three adjacent survey nos such as: Dry Survey No.3/3 in this extent of 0.17 Ares, Dry Survey No.3/4 in this extent of 0.17 Ares and Dry Survey No.3/5 in this extent of 0.17 Ares situated in Naraiyur Panchayat Union based on the petitioner's application for the survey and marking of boundaries vide Challan No.2024/0123/07/05580 dated 23.12.2024. ORDER
By consent of learned counsel on both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

The present writ petition is filed praying for a Writ of Mandamus to direct the 1st and 2nd respondents to survey and mark the boundaries of petitioner's land comprised in Survey No.3/3, measuring an extent of 0.17 ares, Survey No.3/4, measuring an extent of 0.17 Ares and Survey No.3/5, measuring an extent of 0.17 Ares, situated at Naraiyur Village, Villupuram District, based on the petitioner's application dated 23.12.2024.
3. Learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents would submit that they would consider the representation dated 23.12.2024 and conduct survey and mark boundaries of the subject property within a time frame to be fixed by this Court, which was agreed to by the learned counsel for the petitioner. 4 .In view of the limited relief that is prayed, this Court is inclined to dispose of the writ petition with following directions: 2/5
i) The respondents 1 and 2 shall consider the application dated 23.12.2024 in accordance with law, after issuing notice to petitioner, adjacent land owner and all other interested parties including rival claimants, if any.
ii)Though facts have been set out extensively in the affidavit, this Court does not propose to deal with it, while leaving it open to the respondents to call for any document/conduct enquiry, to satisfy itself of petitioner's entitlement for requesting survey of subject property. iii)The entire process shall be completed within a period of 8 weeks from the date of uploading of web copy without waiting for the receipt of certified copy.
iv)It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any views with regard to the merits of the case and it is open to the concerned respondent to consider the matter on its own merits and in accordance with law. Rights and contentions of the petitioner and all other interested parties are left open. No costs.
