ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S. NAGAMUTHU,J.,) The petitioner is the wife of one N. Chidambaram, aged about 36 years. According to the petitioner, N. Chidambaram has been missing from 17.07.2016 onwards. Since he has not been secured by the second respondent despite the complaint made, the petitioner has come up with this habeas corpus petition. 2.

Today, when the matter has been taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that N. Chidambaram had intimacy with one Maheswari and he eloped with her.

Since investigation revealed that it is a case of elopement, we find that there is no illegal confinement. Therefore, no relief could be granted. Accordingly, the habeas corpus petition is dismissed.
