This petitioner along with other accused, due to previous enmity, had brutally attacked the defacto complainant and caused grievous injuries. The defacto complainant was admitted in the hospital on 09.07.2022 and got discharged only on 07.08.2022.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the other accused have been granted bail.

3. However, considering the nature of the offence and weapon used and five persons have joined together and brutally attacked the defacto complainant, if the petitioner is released on bail, there is every possibility of recurrence of occurrence.

4. Hence, the anticipatory bail petition is dismissed.
