..Respondent Prayer: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 528 of BNSS, praying to modify the condition at para 5(1.1) imposed in order dated 04.06.2026 in Crl.M.P.No.119 of 2026 on the file of the learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Uthukottai, Tiruvallur District, by 1. Petitioner shall execute a bond for Rs.5,00,000/- along with two sureties, both the sureties should be permanent residents within the jurisdiction of Thiruvallur District, amongst which, one shall be the blood surety, for above sum, to the satisfaction of this Court.

ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking modification of the condition imposed in paragraph 5(1.1) of the order dated 04.06.2026 passed in Crl.M.P.No.119 of 2026 by the learned District Munsif-cumJudicial Magistrate, Uthukottai, Tiruvallur District, directing the petitioner to execute a bond for the sum of Rs.5,00,000/- with two sureties and that both the sureties should be permanent residents within the jurisdiction of Thiruvallur District, amongst which, one shall be a blood surety.

2. When the matter came up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that an identical condition imposed under similar circumstances was modified to Rs.25,000/- by this Court vide order dated 23.06.2026 passed in Crl.O.P.No.15815 of 2026.

3. Heard the learned counsel for Government of Tamil Nadu (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent and considered the submissions made by him.

4. In view of the identical order passed by this Court in Crl.O.P.No.15815 of 2026, dated 23.06.2026, the condition imposed in paragraph 5(1.1) of the order dated 04.06.2026 passed in Crl.M.P.No.119 of 2026, directing the petitioner to execute a bond for the sum of Rs.5,00,000/- with two sureties and that both the sureties should be permanent residents within the jurisdiction of Thiruvallur District, amongst which, one shall be a blood surety, is modified to the extent that the petitioner shall execute a bond for a sum of Rs.25,000/- with two sureties and that both the sureties should be permanent residents within the jurisdiction of Thiruvallur District, amongst which, one shall be a blood surety, to the satisfaction of learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Uthukottai, Tiruvallur District. All other conditions imposed in the order dated 04.06.2026, shall remain unaltered.
