ORDER

This petition has been filed for a direction to the first and second respondents to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 14.06.2023 and take that into consideration in the course of investigation in Crime No.179 of 2023.

2. Heard Mr.S.Jaganathan, learned Counsel for the petitioner and Mr.A.Damodaran, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents 1 and 2.

3. This Court carefully went through the representation, dated 14.06.2023. The petitioner has made allegation against some other persons who according to the petitioner are the ones who had involved in manual scavenging. Therefore, the petitioner wants those persons to be added as accused in the course of investigation.

4. The case is now under investigation and the respondent Police will take into consideration all the materials that are collected in the course of investigation. If ultimately certain additional offences will have to be added 2/4

or if some other persons must also be added as accused, the same will be done by the second respondent at the time of filing the Final Report. Except giving this clarity, no further orders can be passed in this Criminal Original Petition.

5. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed off with the above directions.
